Finally! The nerve block was a success and now I am pain free...at least for a while. I am looking into getting a handicapped parking sign for when I have to park too far from places.
My next nerve block is a specialty kind that my regualr pain management dr. doesn''t do. The doctor told me when I went in to see him about it that if the nerve block he''s going to do doesn''t work, I will have to consider surgery. I don''t want that but I can''t take this pain much longer. He said it''s like having sciatica but instead of having in my lower back, it''s in my left ribcage.

Hope you get some relief for a protracted period of time with this block; I hear they work wonders when done properly (sister-in-law is a CRNA, she does them). Take care ~ JDaaris
