wELL, relief is on the way! Finally. I am set to get my nerve block on my lower back next Friday and the nerve block in my chest area on the 22nd. I can''t wait. I''ve had soooooo much pain in my back I can''t take anymore. It''s no wonder people get addicted to pain medication. I''m not one of them, but I sure do understand. Nerve blocks work wonders. I''ll be able to walk again without pain in my legs and when I get the nerve block in my middle back, hopefully my ribs will stop hurting...there''s nothing worse than nerve pain. the doctor told me that if this nerve block doesn''t work (I''ve had 2 different kind that did nothing) then I would probably benefit from surgery. I don''t want that unless they do a disc replacement. A good, new disc is very tempting at this point!!!

I had a neck disk fused last november with bone from my hip and metal plate and screws. He also removed bone spurs crushing the nerves leading to my arms. Now the pain and reduced nerve function is gone. I had stiffness and popping for a long time but almost no pain. My pelvis surgery was more trouble but after I left the Hospital I needed no pain pills. Best thing I ever did. Much better than the injections for me. Good luck!
